Artist's Note:

This was an early attempt at portrait painting using human models rather than animals.  It was an interesting process, requiring a very different focus than furry or scaley critters.  I enjoyed this early attempt, liking the neon lighting, and overall aesthetic.  I wasn’t happy with how the hair was looking at the time, and eventually gave up.  Looking back at it though, I really quite like how this piece turned out, including the hair.
